Woo-hoo!
I may be a Vikings fan, but seeing as how I live right on the border with Wisconsin, they're my backup team.
Halftime!
To: CounterCounterCulture
crap...
To: CounterCounterCulture
I'm impressed, hopefully they are finally heating up, now to borrow from Lee Corso, "maybe now the Big Mo is on their side (NCAA College Football 2003)." GO PACK GO
10 Green Bay
14 N.Y. Jets (Halftime)
Playoff implications
- Green Bay has clinched NFC North division title. Green Bay clinches home-field advantage with a win or tie
- Green Bay can clinch first-round playoff bye (#2 seed) with a Tampa Bay loss or tie.
- Eagles clinch home-field advantage with a Green Bay loss
- NY Jets clinches East division with a win
- Patriots clinch AFC East with Jets loss. Dolphins clinch final wildcard berth with Jets loss. Jets and Browns would be eliminated.
- Browns clinch final wildcard berth with Jets win, eliminating Patriots and Dolphins.
07 Arizona
09 Denver (Halftime)
Playoff implications - NONE
07 Seattle
10 San Diego (Halftime)
Playoff implications - NONE
10 Jacksonville
10 Indianapolis 3rd Quarter/13:39 left
Playoff implications LITTLE Colts already have wildcard playoff berth. At best #5 seed
Touchdown JETS...J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS
Jets lead 21-10

That Personal Foul Penalty after the Pennington run, was bull. I have seen a number of bad personal foul penalties this season, that might have been one of the worst.

Well when a QB slides all you can do is touch his shoulder... It was a legit penalty...

Already in the air. Give me a break. The Officials this season have been awful. The LB was already in the air, Pennington dove, LB comes down according to Gravity. That was hardly a late hit, definitly a late flag though. The Refs are laughable.

If Jets win, NE (continuing on their streak of luck) are out?
To: NWU Army ROTC
It was a legit call... You can't make a late hit either after a throw... You just don't like it that Green Bay is losing....
I want the Jets to win so that NE is out...

Go Jets!
AFC Seedings thus far...
#1 Oakland Raiders
#2 Tennessee Titans
#3 Pittsburgh Steelers
#4 NY Jets with win or NE Patriots w/ Jets loss
#5 Indianapolis Colts *
#6 Cleveland with Jets win; Miami with Jets loss
* Colts could be #6 seed with loss
NFC Seedings thus far...
#1 Green Bay Packers or Philadelphia Eagles
#2 Packers, Eagles, or Tampa Bay Buccaneers
#3 Packers or Bucs or San Francisco 49ers
#4 Bucs or 49ers
#5 New York Giants
#6 Atlanta Falcons

Jets are kicking some you know what.... Yeah!
To: CounterCounterCulture
That exaustive list of scenarios cracks me up! What happens if everyone ties? Go Raiduhs!

If Jets win, NE (continuing on their streak of luck) are out?
That is correct. Jets win, they're in, Dolphins and Patriots are out, and Browns are in. Jets lose, they snooze, Browns are out, Pats win AFC East and Dolphins get wildcard.
To: CounterCounterCulture
I love it! With a Jet win both the Pats and the Dolphins are out... Too bad, so sad!
To: marajade
Jets are on a roll...28-10.

Uh, they get to kiss their sisters? ;-)
OH YEAH!

This is my definition of agony:
I *HATE* the NE Pats. They are the luckiest team that ever won a football game, much less a SB and that luck continued today. They should be 1-13, not in the playoff hunt.
I *LOVE* the GB Packs (and the Raiders) and a SB that runs through Oak and GB would be my version of Football heaven.
I am ambivilant on the Jets, although I usually don't support East Coast teams (I'm in L.A. - I get to root for anyone I want).
God, this is like being forced to marry an Islamic fundamentalist but finding out her favorite uncle owns a liquor store!
I guess I'll root for the Jets -- I hate NE more than I love GB.
:(

Nothing is sweeter for a Raider fan, then for the Jets to knock Miami AND New England out of the playoffs today.
This is wonderful! Revenge on the Pats, and no more Jason Taylor chasing down Gannon from behind.
The Raiders already beat the Jets, Titans and Steelers, so it looks really good for an Al Davis Super Bowl.
