I'll NEVER forget the way our guys were treated upon their return home. I hope the sanctimonious #sswipes who reviled them and the politicians who sent them over there and then lacked the b#lls to let them fight to win will rot in hell for the lives they ruined.
I can't go to DC on the 18th. I don't know a soul in that area whom I can alert about this event so that they could make plans to attend, either.
I CAN, however, go on record as standing squarely behind this effort. I thank all the veterans of Vietnam for their service. I have always been appalled at the treatment they received upon their return to our country. It was shameful then, and is even more shameful now.
These heroes must never feel they have to stand alone again! We must NOT let our children go uneducated about what went down. Time and politicians have a way of revising history. It is our DUTY as Americans to ensure that this generation and future generations be made aware of the lives lost and the souls irreparably damaged in that conflict, so that the men and women who served will be given the honor and respect they so richly deserve.
Sorry about the salty language (not really).
