WOW! It sounds like my house! I live on almost three acres in the woods with a creek in the backyard. I was ready to give up looking and then, boom! I found this home.
Your kitchen is awesome. Now I have a picture of a cool layout idea. ;)
So what? I have a lake in my backyard. Sometimes there are even ducks swimming around in it. Of course, it's not SUPPOSED to be there. It's the swamp the houses were built on which is trying to reclaim its area. SIGH!
Go ahead rub it in, for those of us stuck in the city, yearning to be out in the country. We move from the country to the city in 82 because of my husband's job. We bought our first house in 83 and are still here. We are so ready to leave liberal California behind.
We want to a place where :
You don't see the air before you breathe it.
The are actual seasons.
The biggest problem in the neighborhood is the deer in your garden.
If you hear a phone ring you KNOW that it is yours.
You can have a compost pile with worrying if the neighbors are going to smell it.
If you hear a barking dog it is yours.
You can see the stars at night.
Someday, someday.
