Interesting that Chesa Boudin, just like his mother, wasn't rebelling against his Bolshevik parents but following them in every conceivable detail. I always noticed this with many of the leading lights of the radical edge of the Vietnam antiwar movement, the so-called "rebels". Their parents were almost uniformly collectivist Bolsheviks and some of their parents had been active supporters of Leon Trotsky. No rebellion there; their parents must have been proud that they had raised carbon copies.
