There is a German phrase Dave Rosenberg uses when describing the task he faces in early 2003.
Rosenberg is a Yolo County supervisor who also happens to be Gov. Gray Davis' point man in negotiating with California's Indian tribes about casino gambling.

Does anyone have a state by state breakdown on casino revenue ..
I know Minnesota is lookin' at a 4 billion dollar plus deficit and has quite a few casinos.
34 or is it 36 states have some form of legalized gambling..
Is this the next "Golden Goose" for states to hook their claws into?

The biggest scam ever perpetrated on the nation is the gambling craze everywhere. If gambling and especially the many state-run lotteries are so beneficial, why are taxes increasing in every state, including Nevada, the
# 1 gambling state in the nation? The recent Time mag article about indian casinos was a devastating look at how they are ruining the tribes both when they are successful and when they aren't.
