Dhaka, Dec 22. (PTI): Bangladesh is likely to sign an agreement with China on military cooperation during the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia to that country, according to media reports today.

A new agreement on military cooperation with Beijing will be one of the four agreements likely to be signed during Begum Zia's five-day visit, mass circulated vernacular daily The Jugantor reported.

Bangladesh has been receiving Chinese military assistance since mid-seventies and the new agreement will be on military technology, the newspaper said.

This maiden visit of Begum Zia to China would also help in boosting trade and investment, strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, state BSS news agency said.

Begum Zia leaves here tomorrow for Beijing leading a jumbo delegation comprised of nearly half a dozen ministers including the ministers of finance and foreign affairs.

Repeat after me: China is our friend. They only want what's best for America. They are a strategic partner.

Nothing to see here, move along now.

Wow, I bet India will be happy. Maybe the Indians should form some sort of military assistance pact with the Mongolians.

Exactly. You left out the part that Islam is a "religion of peace."

Nothing to worry about here!

Also take into account the Maoist uprising in Nepal, their alliance with genocidal regime in Burma, Pakistan's close relationship with radical Islam, and China's close relations with Thailand and India is screwed.

Notice which religion is the majority. (I'll give you a hint, it's a religion of peace.)

Very interesting indeed. Like the gathering of the armies of Sauron and Sauruman. Let them gather and declare their alliance.
