The problem is that those who made California into a cesspool are now pulling out and leaving others to live in the mess they left behind, while relocating to places such as the Pacific Northwest and Colorado, and are now trying to *reform* those places into copies of their California *Progressive Successes.*
And it's not easy to tell the decent people from California fleeing the cesspool from those salivating at the chance of turning other communities into something similar. And there appears to be no easy way to get those who did the damage in California to return to live with the effects of their folly.
