People get passionate about computers; hang around drug war threads some time if you want to see belittlement, namecalling, and abuse.

That's true... and I like a good mud-slinging word war as well as the next person. But it's at best hubris, and at worst outright lies for him to claim a higher, moral ground and complain about the base nature of 'other posters' on this forum.
