The RNC has long since written us (Washington State) off. There will be no high profile candidate. The state party is an absolute shipwreck, and we got 0 RNC help for the few congressional races where we had a viable candidate. Rove won't give this race a second thought.

JTull's right - there is no hope in WA state. They will re-elect her, thanks to the handful of liberal counties in the Puget Sound. The rest of the state will just have to eat it. So sad....

Washington is disgustingly liberal. Seattle controls the political climate and it has the third largest gay population in the country, after San Francisco and Miami. And to top it off, the Republicans seem determined to lose by putting up the most unpleasant, judgemental conservatives that they can find.
