Gee...where do I start?! This seems OK as an example from the article (not that I don't appreciate the post, LOL!):
Why if only good old Strom had had his way, Senator Big Mouth seemed to be saying, Jackie Robinson wouldn't have integrated Major League baseball, Michael Jordan could have actualized his inner "negro" working on a plantation and eating watermelon, and Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice might have known their place, happily working in the service industries as a railway porter and hotel cleaning woman respectively.
This is just not "intellectual" writing, IMHO, nor does it reflect "conservative" thinking (or thinking of any other ilk, for that matter)...
No offense intended to you, cb, of course...!

The Vacant Lott is a chronic buffoon at best and then on BET the other night said that: himself, whites, southerners, Pickering, etc., etc. are all racists and apologized for being insensitive while saying we don't know who Martin Luther King Jr. is and what he meant to our society.
Lott is a GOP death wish come true and he needs to step back as Leader and support the move forward on critical issues.

The sad part is, there are way too many Senate Club Members that are so far out of touch will political reality in America and advancing a conservative on logic and persuasion that they might end up all becoming RATS. RAT and RAT light. If they don't collectively grow some nads and get the Vacant Lott out of the nation's way, the GOP and conservatives will show them what life was like for the GOP not long ago when only the House stopped the communist machine from rolling. We know that Lott can't stop the machine; he**, he's part of it and baptized himself on BET as the new poster boy for AAction and coming soon, (to theaters near you), reparations.

Hey, why are you calling Trent Lott a liar? He has clearly stated a zillion times this past week that he did something wrong. If you're going to defend him, get your story straight, but be careful not to say how much you loved his pining for segregation - that's a non-starter.

My sweet darling, you've got it all wrong. That's ok, though. It's going around. We ARE seeing how big of pu**ies the GOP Senators are though, since they have to explain all this to Lott in a group. Bush knows it and his brother knows it; most conservatives know it, but the majority of conservatives in the Senate are thus far standing to lose their a**es to their conservative bases. You don't have a *clue* what's going on at the conservative, grass roots, activist base in America. I hear they're starting to understand though.
