I just saw Lott on the PBS Newshour promising everything, including the kitchen sink, to anybody he may have "offended" by his remarks, proving that his solution to the problems brought on by his own personal gaffe is to grow gov't bigger in direct contravention of the Republican philosophy of governance. Nothing matters to Lott except saving his own skin.

This guy has got to go.

his own personal gaffe

These are the key words.. a GAFFE. This is no reason to be calling for his head.

Exactly, Lott would not hesitate to spend billions of your tax dollars to appease the people that are laughing their a** off at him.

"proving that his solution to the problems brought on by his own personal gaffe is to grow gov't bigger in direct contravention of the Republican philosophy of governance."

Lott proposes to buy forgiveness for his own mistake via a generous outpouring of taxpayer dollars (i.e., our dollars).

And, at the same time, prove that he's not the only guilty party by sharing his guilt with "white Americans" and the entire Republican Party.

No thanks. These are not the actions of a responsible man, much less a leader. Trent has to go.
