When in the past two weeks have the Conservatives here 'embraced' Chester as our leader?

Exactly. By shunning Lott, the GOP is declaring him to be a "racist" and now want to back away from him, although THEY were the ones who elected him their leader. In this regard, the GOP is being hypocritical, not because of their programs but because of the way they have implied that Lott is a racist that was elected by them.

I dont think a large percentage of FR conservatives have been calling Chester racist, a greater percentage feel that he must step down because his wishy-washy way of running the Senate is undermining the Bush Administrations Agenda.
