Once in a great while, one of the fellows here at work goes somewhere and brings me back an "original formula" Dr. Pepper made with Cane sugar.

I've had one chilling in the fridge for a couple of months waiting for a good reason. Maybe this is enough of a reason.

I've heard that cane sugar is still used in Mexico.

The use of HFCS is nearly complete in the US, with only specialty bottlers still paying extra for cane sugar.
