I have a hard time believing Barney scared a room full of children. If anything, the President scooped him up to protect him from the children who would want to pet him and such.

Barney has proven he obviously has had a hidden problem with children. The truth has finally come out about Barney and he must go. He can go on DET (dog entertainment tv) or whatever he wants but it's too late.

Oh, get rid of that dang purple dinosaur with the same name while you are at it.

Oh noooooo, not our favorite WH pooch!

I suspect that the Dems got in with the school children, and spooked Barney just as the President started to read a story. Probably threw a small ball for him to chase, right into that room.

Barney is such a cutie - how could he scare anyone?

Children these days are a bunch of wimps, in general. I wonder if they'll get psychological counselling to help them "cope with" their Barney scare.

"Scared" is probably to strong a word
Starled then delighted would be more accurate (although Terriers are pretty fiesty dogs)

Barney is Black, and the Congressional Black Caucus can help him.

"Mr. President, Barney or Lott, your choice?"

I this live on fox, and it didn't look like they were frightened to me. As a matter of fact, the kids were all crowded around the President to try and pet Barney. Very strange take on this.

Yeah, those kids really look scared, all ganged around the president to see Barney. If they were scared, you'd think they'd be as far away from him as possible.

If the Blacks, Dems, NAACP, and JJ start messing with Barney, they'll find themselves in a real dog-fight.

Q. What do the black caucus, NAACP, Jessee Jackson, Al Sharpston, et al, sing when they see Lott coming?

A. "Here comes Santa Claus..."
