The ethnic background of these girls does not constitute a "hate crime". Why do you (or the author) know that this was caused by religious tensions? You are making assumptions beyond the facts you are given. It's bad reporting and I believe the author of this article is as biased as yourself. Your response is very telling. I bet some of your best friends are Black too.

Presumably you are blind so ask a friend to read the article to you particularly the part about the weeks of taunting "Jew, Jew, Jew" by a group of Moslemaniacs which led up to this incident.
