[history]
As a business owner in California, I share every business owner's fears about where the state and national economies are headed, and whether my business will continue to grow and be profitable. But Assemblyman Ray Haynes' Dec. 4 column ["Truth and consequences," California Focus], which calls California "inhospitable to business," is nonsense, and a terrible distortion of the state's business climate.

Davis's dilusional Gobbellesque propaganda machine is now in swing. This should be interesting.

And this is from the Orange County Register? Am I missing something? You would think somebody down there would know the difference between capitalism and Gray-Davis-Socialism. Are there any real Republicans left in CA?

This clown claims to be a "business man" when in reality he's just another leach (lawyer) hoping to profit from all the grief that Davis and his pinko legislature are expected to pile onto real businesses.

The author claims to be a businessman, but the article states that he is a "lawyer and Democratic activist". What business could he run, an actor's studio for personal injury plaintiffs? A trial lawyer academy? A business he sued into bankruptcy and forfeiture? I'm just glad I don't invest in any businesses he owns or manages.

"... is doing all the right things under Gray Davis to continue its position as the world's fifth-largest economy."
I heard on the radio (KSFO) a while back that CA had dropped to sixth under Davis. France was now number five. For all we know, CA may be seventh by now.

Right on, that I thought was strange!
