Did you read the article closely? Nowhere does it say another vote is being scheduled on if he should stay by his collegues, does it? So if he is being forced out, or there is the attempt to do so, without putting it to a vote, you'd consider his actions reprehensible for defending his honour?

Lott is doing what he must.If his Republican Senators feel as strongly as some think they do, they should call for another vote and put up or shut up.
