"The Trent Lott Apology World Tour 2002-2003' headed to a venue near you!"The bad news is, that tour will last for at least two more years. Lot's pennance will be to lead the Republicans to vote for every morsel of pork the Black Caucus wants or that the Dims threaten him with. Having him there opens the Senate Republicans up to blackmail, just to save his stupid rear end. He isn't worth saving. This is a wonderful time to get rid of him.

The bad news is, that tour will last for at least two more years. At least we can take solice from fact that Strom's birthday wasnt two months ago. If that had been the case we would have lost our majorities in both the House and Senate on November 5. Trent has to go before he does it again.

If it last much longer it will start to work against the Democrats.
This man has done everything he can to apologize for remarks he never meant to be racist. He has consistently said the remarks were only meant to cheer up an old man. A man Lott respected a man that has been in elected office in Washington longer than anyone else. A man who came to see his 1948 ideas were wrong and changed them. A man who has done our country great service as the head of the Defense committee and Law Enforcement committee.
I believe this will soon work against the Democrats especially after Lots appearance on BET.
Furthermore no one suggest any particular Senator who could do a better job. Come on suggest one or get behind Lott.
