Lott went a long way toward fulfilling his penance today. He stood there like a man and took the beating. Today, he exhibited balls.

If he'd done that the FIRST time around, this would be over already. But ol' Trent had to make sure the Dems got a week's worth of free throws from the foul line.

If Lott actually were working for the Dems, I don't think he could have made it much worse.
