My sentiments exactly. That whole press conference was an embarrassment. I could barely stand to listen.
I felt the same way...because this is unjust. This whole "apologize for something you do not think or we'll burn you at the stake" is sickening.
Under the circumstance, though, I think Lott did just what he needed to do.
I wish Senator Lott God's peace, and Karl Rove's strength.
