OK...does anyone know here how long blood (products) last....if my husband sets blood aside....for how long will it last...?? He has A neg.....and while it's not impossible to get, it's not the most common....plus, would like to have a stash of my own blood if possible...just wondering....

NEVER mind....found the answer.... "We recommend that blood donations be given a week apart and up to four working days before the date of your surgery. After the blood is given, it can be stored for up to 35 days."
