Academy Award Winner Russell Crowe is planning to settle down and marry his long time flame, Danielle Spencer, newspaper reports said today.
Crowe, 38 splashed out $187,805 on a diamond engagement ring for the actress, the British Newspaper 'The Sun' reported today.
The engagement follows a rocky year for Crow in which he won awards for his own screen performances but was pilloried in the press for his for his off screen behaviour.

Perhaps, but my calculation is based on two factors:
(1) She's new at this, unlike LMP who has already gone through two "marriages". She probably wants to give it the old college try.
(2) Russell Crowe is so much more famous than she is, she needs the exposure to bolster her singing career in Australia - a la J Lo/Puff Daddy stateside.
