Ask them to explain to you why they think justice and liberty and rights "can only be achieved in a global or transnational framework." When they can't answer that, you might suggest that a reasonable person might think that to consolidate all power in a global hegemon is to reduce the power of individuals everywhere, including their own power. Ask them how arbitrary, "one-size-fits-all rules" delivered "top-down" and enforced by an unaccountable autocrat increases their rights or their liberty. You might also remind them that politics is about power, not about truth -- and maybe they need to "put that in their pipe, and smoke it." :^)
