Sorry, but behavior is always a choice.

Sure it is. But you're talking about sexual orientation, not sexual acts. I can no more be attracted to the same sex than I can be attracted to fat, hairy-legged feminazis. It pervades my identity. In fact, it's a very basic part of my identity, just as much as my race and gender. It's simply beyond comprehension that you or anyone thinks such a basic character trait is a choice. Anyone who honestly believes that orientation is a myth and a choice is simply not mentally stable.

But you're talking about sexual orientation...

No, I'm talking about sexual preference.

I can no more be attracted to the same sex than I can be attracted to fat, hairy-legged feminazis.

That's because you're normal. If, however, you would have been subjected to certain traumas during your development, such as being molested by a homosexual, that may have come out differently.

In fact, it's a very basic part of my identity, just as much as my race and gender.

Again, gender applies to grammar.

If you were attracted to others of the same sex, then your identity would be a corrupted one, such as in the case of an alcoholic or a kleptomaniac. Fortunately, we can sucessfully treat all of these aberrations. This article is simply one more example of that.

It's simply beyond comprehension that you or anyone thinks such a basic character trait is a choice.

Your comprehension appears to be limited in this matter.

Anyone who honestly believes that orientation is a myth and a choice is simply not mentally stable.

Anyone who believes that homosexuality is acceptable is a moral cripple. So there.

If you think I'm arguing that a man cannot be attracted to another man, then you are mistaken. However, when this does occur, it is an aberration and the result of a mental or moral defect (perhaps both). Orientation is not the pre-ordained destiny that some would have us believe. That is what I was stating was a myth. If I wasn't succinct enough in my earlier declaration, I apologize.
