Burk's quotes were sent to Shultz's San Francisco office via e-mail Wednesday after they were read over the phone to his executive assistant, and the toadies in the press dutifully reported the non story.

MOST of the restauranst in this town are PRIVATE CLUBS because this is a DRY town and in order to sell alcholic bev. they have to make the restaurant a private club. You have to have a membership card to order an adult bev. They are not allowed to refuse membership to women or to blacks or to native americans or to hispanics or to jews or to asians, etc. Golf courses should not be allowed to refuse membership to any of those groups either. Denny's tried to refuse service to blacks not too long ago. This exclusion is hurtful to the group being refused service or membership. We are a much better country and civilization than that. The only other group who hates women and treats them so badly is Taliban. They are the only other group on earth who look at females as less than human, 1/2 a man.

What about freedom of association do you not understand?

Well, so long as they don't allow blacks or jews in. What the h*ll kind of point were you trying to make to me? ....... go take your guitar and strum somewhere else. Your trying real hard to link this to racism and failing.
I happen to believe people have the RIGHT to not be forced to accomodate what someone else wants them to do (like the Taliban) with their money. Why don't you or those hags take your money and open up your own golf course and leave this man and HIS property alone.
And as a woman I hope men everywhere will finally stand up to these obnoxious controlling dykes who demand men appease to their demands. It's past time for men to protect their b@lls from the castrations of NOW.

T'would be great to see "women's activist" Martha Burk get clocked by some old duffer, same way that Buzz Aldrin's pest got it. I can always dream can't I?

New York Times Editorial BoardFor immediate release
The New York Times Editorial Board has taken a strong stand against recent discrimination in the city. Mr. Haines stated "we simply can't stand around when these injustices occur. Discrimination is discrimination and when smokers are not allowed to "join" with the elite non-smokers at local establisments we must forcefully argue for equal treatment."
The NY Times said it will run almost daily editorials asking the members of the elite non-smoking club to resign from their activities and to stop going to places where non-smokers are not allowed.
