PING -- Truly frightening. I am glad I don't live too close to a big city.

I dunno... but this to me constitutes a material breach of the UN agreement. Blow 'em away.

I think it's about time we consider Al Qaeda and Hamas as officially Spec Ops or at least hired mercs for the countries that support them.

"Few crimes in the history of the human race are as vile as whatever it was that Lott did."
JEEZ..How about giving it a break...IMO he just failed to defend himself adequately.

If true, it's big. But don't expect the nets to report this story. They're having far too much fun demeaning Lott.Well, duh! What's more important???

Rage is an understatement if they kill thousands with nerve gas (like a football or hockey game)Or take out all the happy Christmas shoppers at the Mall of America...

Why has AQ been warning against an attack on Iraq if there is anything to your theory?PR in the Middle East. I think they're doing basically the same thing as most Arab state leaders are doing - trying to get on the good side of their own people by supporting and constantly focusing on the Palestinians (for aQ at this time it is the 'iraq' issue instead). Just MHO.

Saddam has worked closely with AQ for a decade including setting up highjacker training facilities around Baghdad. It is in no way his enemy.

If you're refering to the Salman Pak area, I have recently heard that it is in fact an "
anti-terrorist" Iraqi camp to practise for hijackings of their own Iraqi planes. This explanation of the camp - with a dummy plane - does make some sense considering the Kurdish and Iranian factions milling about in the region.
In any case, I think Saddam is concerned about control and working too closely with other groups he can't control is risky for his status.
