...hmmm..."in the real world" has not, mercifully, made it back here yet - but I'll be watching for it's arrival. All of us here were newbies once - anxiously mashing the Post button for the first time and hoping not to become toast from the flames of the old timers here.
Be well, stay safe, and molon labe. ;-)

Hi Julie!
I remember the Intracoastal boat parades from when I used to live in Broward County. They were always a spectacular sight to behold!
I am SO looking forward to my journey home beginning in 8 days, 17 hours and 50 mins.
LOL!

There were my FAVORITE lights on our CHRISTmas tree when I was a kid...many, many moons ago.

I remember those lights! We never had any, but I surely do remember them!
I wonder why they stopped making them....were they hard to keep up (replacing worn out ones, etc)?

Top ten favorite gifts I have received for Christmas.
#1 Aunt Bessie passed this family heirloon down to me on Christmas in 1952.
#2 My son knows that I love clocks and this one is...is...is..a clock.
#3 Who could resist this vase from the early Inco Period given to me by Raoul the gardner back in 78?
#4 This whimsical fatcat given to me by a cousin still graces a prominent place in the basement.
#5 A bench to grace the most discerning homemaker. A gift from Uncle Tex.
#6 A wealthy parishioner wanted to reward me one Christmas with something useful, a wonderful prayer chair.
#7 This single-chamber bat house has come in handy more times than I can count. An environmenalist friend took one look at the bats in my belfry and knew exactly what to get me for Christmas.
#8 My daughter-in-law caters to my love of candles every Christmas.
#9 This set of glasses is a favorite gift from my brother-in-law.
#10 Last, but not least is this Elvis clock given to me at Christmas 1982 by my loving husband. What clock collection is complete without it?
I do hope you have enjoyed seeing my favorite Christmas gifts.
