LOL! There's nothing to bite on- it's the God's honest truth. She doesn't use the hairbrush now either- just technically, she owns one because I do. And yes, she showers, towels dry (hair too) and runs her fingers through it and musses it up and lets it dry like that- always has. She can be ready quicker than I can. She used to be an athlete- cross country skier (German National Team to be exact). She's pretty down to earth...
I think she's the prettiest woman I ever saw- but then the first time I met her, I told a buddy who was with me "I'm going to marry that woman" and I did. This might be my own particular taste but I know what I like.
It's not all that unusual though. Lot's of German women don't use makeup. If you go your whole life without using any, your skin will have a naturally healty color to it. I mean, rouge is a device to "add color" to the cheeks to make them look like you've been out in the elements. If you just let your skin go natural your whole life- more than likely you'll get that effect without having to donate to the makeup industry. My wife, being an outdoors type person and physically active has just always had a rosy glow to her face- I think makeup would actually detract from her looks. But it's not just that. My wife is a genuinely good and nice person. I've seen complete strangers come up to her on the street and tell her she's got a "happy face" (no joke). A natural demeanor like that will take you further than cosmetics or raw beauty ever will.
After I got used to seeing women the way they naturally look, eyeliner, lipstick and so forth took on an "artificial" and unnattractive appearance (IMHO anyway). It's a cultural thing really. I didn't notice it at first when I moved away from the States, but after a while I did and grew to appreciate it. To each his own I guess...
