"If you're not mad, you're not paying attention!" - Michelle Malkin

I have been paying attention and I am mad as hell. What we as a nation are essentially doing is penalizing those who play by the rules to reward those who violate are laws. The state and local law enforcement officers who order other officers not to enforce relavent federal laws are engaged in a criminal conspiracy to violate the laws of the Unbited States of America. Can one imagine a state or local officer being ordered not to arrest counterfieters? Yet counterfieting US currency is a Federal crime. If any state or local officer openly refused to enforce the Federalk law on counterfieting and that jurisdiction was flooded with counterfiet currency they would be in Federal Court on conspiracy charges in a heartbeat.

"I thought I used to be liberal," the Fullerton resident says, her backpack a marquee of her abandoned politics—a rainbow patch and an alien giving the peace sign. "I used to believe in welfare, peace and helping out the poor. But if you allow unfettered immigration, this is what happens."

She points to an anti-immigration pamphlet with a picture of the exploding Twin Towers.

Such reasoning finds an especially receptive audience at meetings of the fanatically anti-immigration California Coalition for Immigration Reform (CCIR)...
