Don't forget not only does Fuller parents live in Salt Lake but that Elizabeth's Uncle David Francom lives in San Diego. They do go to visit the family and remember that it is something the Smarts do and did for Elizabeth's birthday is go down there and they go to disneyland.

Sometimes all it takes is for one of these creeps to look at a girl and then starts stalking them. They might not have even chatted on the internet. (this comes from experiance when I was a teen I found out I was being stalked and I don't even know where or when it all started, the lucky thing on my part is the police picked him up for questioning and found out the Army was looking for him so I never saw him again. It was very scary because everywhere I went there he was and I didn't know how long he had been stalking me before I had really taken to notice it. This might be the same thing with Elizabeth).

We must remember that Elizabeth was in the lime light and did travel around and that their were and still is information on the internet. He could have used the same information to put pieces together to find out where she lived. It sounds like he liked to go to other states to do his crime. I feel there should be a sex offender list for the whole united states not just by state and they should go on this list when they are paroled (not that fuller had previous arrest but it could help some of the children in our country.)

We must be proud of our achivement in our children but not too proud to put personal information about them on the internet.

Kat, I agree with your theory about the visibility factor and Elisabeth Smart. She seemed to be a very actve child, in and around the Community. And a girl as lovely as she was, might have made an impact on a man like Fuller when he visited his father in Salt Lake.

LC, it wouldn't be the first time a "body" had been found sealed up in a chest or another such container in a rented mini-storage, with no detectable odor before the discovery.

A case where a woman killed her husband and sealed him in a chest for 2 years, comes to mind. She "forgot" to make the payment, and called the mini-storage, but alas the unit had just been auctioned off. They arrested her.
