I can't say whether it would or it wouldn't. I'm just saying that it's wrong to automatically assume every LSU alumnus/supporter is a Terrell voter. I personally know several who are strong for Landrieu.
Things are complicated here, and the interest groups don't always line up the way you'd think.
In the small town where I live, both candidates came through a few days apart. I went to both rallies, and I saw a LOT of the same people at both. I'm sure Landrieu's and Terrell's staffers were very pleased with the response. But a lot of the crowd (maybe the majority) were just there for the show. Who knows how they're really going to vote.
It may be a nail biter. But I won't be surprised if EITHER Landrieu or Terrell runs away with it by five points or more.

I'm just saying that it's wrong to automatically assume every LSU alumnus/supporter is a Terrell voter. No one would assume that. Many hunters are members of labor unions, too. It's fine for you to be an LSU fan, and I'm sure you wish they were playing today. Still, the success of Ralph Reed in Georgia was getting these white conservative Democrats to finally vote Republican on election day for races lesser than president. We need a strong showing of conservative white Democrats to show up today because we have to play the odds that they will act like their Georgian cousins. There aren't enough Republicans in the state to send Terrell to the Senate.
