Didn't remember you are a cajun. Not many people at the polls where I voted (9:30am). Praying with you.

Good luck over in LA today.... Keep us posted on any observations, media reports that you hear during the day. I suspect later on they'll be talking about turnout around the state. Is anyone doing any exit polling that you know of? I thought maybe LSU may do some, but never saw anything about it.

Much of my moms family is in the Lafayette area and because of that and working in the oilfield, I know the area well. I've been supplied with a list of likely voters / hunters in that area and I've been calling them from Houston since last night.
Thank goodness for free long distance/weekend minutes on my cell phone!! ;-)

If Orleans Parish doesn't go overboard with turnout then Suzie hopefully will be the winner. Orleans gave Mary almost 95,000 votes in Nov. to some 31,000 or so to the other candidates.... Maybe Maxine, Donna and the Black Caucus won't have that great of impact.
