[history]
West Bloomfield bulk e-mailer Alan Ralsky, who just may be the world's biggest sender of Internet spam, is getting a taste of his own medicine.
Ever since I wrote a story on him a couple of weeks ago (www.freep.com/money/tech/mwend22_20021122.htm), he says he's been inundated with ads, catalogs and brochures delivered by the U.S. Postal Service to his brand-new $740,000 home.

"They've signed me up for every advertising campaign and mailing list there is," he told me.
"These people are out of their minds. They're harassing me." Waaaaaaaah!!
Suck it up, buttercup!
To: Glenn
Ralsky is indeed annoyed. He says he's asked Bloomfield Hills attorney Robert Harrison to sue the anti-spammers. A spammer sues spammers for spamming him.
To: Glenn
This is FUNNY!
I am tickled pink that this spammer is getting his just deserts.
That said, I'd also like to make a more serious proposal: It's time for the U.S Postal Service to get out of the business of delivering 3rd class bulk junk-mail.
Let the private sector deliver that crud!

And, what is is email address again?

"If they send out postage-paid envelopes, everyone could put some newspaper clippings in the envelope and mail it back."
newspaper clippings? why not tape it to a nicely wrapped brick?

Is that the world's smallest violin I hear? LOL
This proves that, sometimes, justice does prevail.

Only a jury of non-internet users would convict if he sues.

Reminds me of the hilarious site linked below, which was started after some guy named Bernard Shifman was spamming people with his resume looking for a computer consultant job.
Bernard Shifman is a Moron Spammer
If you have the time, read the whole page. The audio clips are especially funny.

"If they send out postage-paid envelopes, everyone could put some newspaper clippings in the envelope and mail it back." Actually what really works is to tape about 1/2 lb of fenderwashers to a cardboard card and send it. Costs them alot more..at least that's what I hear...(hehehe)

"These people are out of their minds. They're harassing me." Ahhwwwwwww............. This is breaking my heart.
Spammers are just above--but just barely--Hildebeast, Beezlebubba and McAuliff in the food chain. I hope his junk mail and spam triples.

These guys are parsitic scum, consuming vast amount of internet resources paid for by others for their own profit. What they do may be legal, but that doesn't make it right. This serves him right.

Did anyone ever track down any of HIS email addresses?
They posted the Queen of Spams address on the other thread.
To: Johnny Gage
Ralsky said he includes a link on each e-mail he sends that lets the recipient opt out of any future mailings. I NEVER use those "remove" instructions, those are most often used to generate additional, VERIFIED, EMAIL LISTS.
Just another way of insuring you'll get more spam.

LOL.........ohhhhh the poetic justice

What they SHOULD have done is sign him up for tons of magazine subscriptions. Then, not only would he be spammed like crazy, but he'd have to waste time cancelling them all.
