Boston's most eligible bachelor is off the market.
Nomar Garciaparra 29, has popped the question to his soccer sweetie Mia Hamm 30, and the two are tying the knot 'sometime in the next two years.'
'It's true, we got engaged over Thanksgiving,' Nomar told The Track.
'People want to know when and where we are getting married, but you know what, I dont even know those details. We're just really happy right now and really enjoying our time together.'
No. 5 who was in town last week for a string of charity appearances, was pretty stingy with the details.
But we did manage to pry out of him that he asked Mia for her hand the old-fashioned way-down on one knee.

You're dead-on, dead - Mia is mucho hot. Don't ya love that fingertip-touching-thumbtip thing she does with her hands as she unloads a kick? It's such a sensual subtle move combining grace and power.

I chuckle every time I think of the fact that Nomar's parents named him Ramon spelled backwards. I wonder if Mia's parents chose her name the same way?
I used to work for a company for which Mia did commercial endorsements. Inside, we made celebrity capital out of the fact that our spokesperson's name backward was our company's name. (Which utterly gives me away.)
