Seems to me to just get worse and worse Which is because the bulk of it is NOT funded by taxes (in the normal sense). The bulk of it is funded by confiscations which need not even show that anyone committed a crime.

I believe a ruling in Oregon forced the cops to stop seizing property until a conviction was in place,so many people made a ruckus about seizures at the time of the bust.That put a damper on the funnel of luxury cars for the cops to drive around and I'm sure made for some unhappy campers down at drug and vice department.
