Keeping in mind the very real possibility that Gore himself has not decided, there is a growing sense among well informed Democrats that the needle ISN'T straight up or down, and that he wont do it. This is just HOPE on the part of the Demmycrats. Gore IS running. Otherwise why come out with that dopey book? He just had it published as an excuse to go on all those talk radio shows.
