But part of the reason for this, I have come to realize, is the very success of the new Christian missionaries. They are coming today not from Europe and America as they once did, but from churches now indigenous to Africa and Asia.

This is an absolutely true description of what is happening around the world. For more than a generation missionaries, primarily American, having been not only preaching the Gospel but training indigenous leaders for ministry.

When you plant that much seed---water it and tend it---some of it is bound to come to fruition...which is what is happening now.

Of course, these new evangelists are paying a very high price for their love for God and for lost souls...probably higher than alot of American Christians would be willing to pay. Too many here aren't even willing to open their mouths against the evils in our own country, simply because they are afraid of what someone might say about them or think of them.

Think if the price was life or death for our faith, like the situation faced by millions of third-world Christians today. They put us to shame.
