The insults are so common from people like you.
Grow some thicker skin. I am just messing with you, and not very much at that. Exactly what kind of person am I? As far as I know, we have never met, here or otherwise.
There is NOTHING vague about the effect on society that a damaged oil economy would cause. I still am not convinced that the war with Iraq really has a whole lot to do with oil other than the regional stability issue in the ME.

You're correct. I did the same thing you did in post #116 where you assumed I am an environmental wacko freak. I'm for drilling for our own oil in our country. If we do that, those banana countries will become supplicants begging us to buy their oil at $5.00 a barrel. Of course, the oil special interests with political clout would not allow that to happen with the acquienscnce of our dishonest "reprehensentatives ( a great many of them).
I'm against this so-called "war" because I see it as selective and does not really address terrorism as a whole.
Have you noticed that North Korea admits to these weapons, yet, no warnings are given to them? Can you guess why?
If memory serves, I believe they were also included in the Pres's "axis of evil".
Quite frankly, I am tired of Bush's daily warnings as it shows arrogance and I don't care for arrogant people. You know as well as I do all this shows is he is "champing at the bit" to attack.
He sounds as if he's also warning the inspectors that they better find something! Maybe it's just me who gets that impression.
If there are weapons of mass destruction, then we should do a pre-emptive strike, but, I want more proof than the word of one person even if he is the President. I don't trust any politician regardless of his/her label.
In any event, if I offended you, my apologies.
