With so many candidates, there is expected to be a special election runoff between two Republicans early in June. None of the Democrats is considered a likely winner. One of the Republicans, however, is a former Democrat who switched only to enter this special election, a former Lubbock Mayor named David Langston.

I think Isett and Langston make the run off and then Isett beats the Dem, er, former Dem, senseless.

Another possibility would be Neubebaueru and Isett in the run off....Isett wins by a hair b/c he is a State Rep.

Interesting race all in all.
