That's the point...the ones I've heard about thought they voted, but when they described what they filled out, it was simply a request form. We're talking about pretty sheltered and naive folks here, for the most part.

The pertinent question is whether those ballots were voted or not. If they were, they were voted fraudulently. I can see how Johnson could have garnered thousands of votes through this means alone.

I'm getting my info second-hand, but the guy who is telling me about it has deep roots in that community.

Boy, no idea. Just between you and me, the Hoots are VERY opposed to abortion, I can't imagine the community leaders voting any other way.
