...socialist economics actually worked...Socialist economics does not work. Nor does free market economics. Economics does not "do" anything. Economics is the study of how things do or do not work in given situations based on human desires and decisions- choices. Socialists pursue a fantasy economics which is but a fictional description of how the world should work if all the actors shared the socialists' fantasies. Economic studies and conclusions can be right or wrong but they cannot "work". Socialist and freemarket systems both follow the same econoomic laws. The systems either produce (freemarket)or don't produce. Various economic theories can be said to "work" if they correctly describe the interactions of man in market. Socialist theories do not correctly describe anything real.
