So riddle me this. IF what you allege is true, then why won't Ted Maher publicly renounce this so-called "coerced" confession? Since Ted himself refuses to recant his confession publicly, in front of the press, just who is alleging the confession was coerced, besides his wife? Who else, besides his wife and attorney, has had access to him for him to recant the confession? I thought all his contacts with his wife were closely monitored so that the case couldn't be discussed, so how would she know anyway?

If I were being railroaded, I'd say so every time a cameraman or journalist came near me, at the top of my lungs!

Please see my additional post. By Monegasque law, the accused is not permitted to recant a confession, even under the strangest of circumstances. Ted has not been permitted, as those in American courtrooms are, to be near the media. The jailers in Monaco have also refused to permit "48 Hours" and "Dateline NBC" to interview him from behind bars. He's just not given that kind of access, the kind we're so accustomed to in this country.
