I am glad to see that Solaris is not doing well.

Die Another Day is going to blast the internation markets and make more money than Harry Potter.

"Chamber of Secrets" and "Die Another Day" will face competition next weekend when Warner Bros. opens "Analyze That," its sequel to the 1999 comedy "Analyze This," with Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal.

If that is their competition, I wouldn't be too worried.

James bond has been PC'd and emasculated in this film (Bottled water, anyone?).

Bond films have been relegated to the offal troughs of current societal Political Correctness diarrhea for the brain dead and optically hypnotized, without thought or regard for any continuous plot that would last the length of a "Silent But Deadly" boiled-egg fart...

Boring, both of them. I haven't gone to the movies in over a year. They just keep putting out more and more garbage.

Why, I can stop holding mah breath, now that I know what's good and what isn't, what's art and what ain't, what's worthwhile and what isn't, what to think and whan not to! The box office and popularity polls as the fountains of eternal wisdom! We're in Utopia Marge!

No wonder we American are considered philistines!

To my mind, the new Bond ranks among the best in the series. You've got to love a movie series whose foundation is staked on anti-feminist, anti-liberal doctrine. Objectified women, the damsel in distress, the frigid villainess, the maniacal communist villain, excessively-outfitted fast cars (with no consideration of "emissions standards"), concealed weapons, unnecessary firepower, espionage, gunfights, destruction and mayhem - pretty much the pinnacle of culture.

This 20-part series is pretty much the embodiment of all that liberals stand against (OK, except for unrestrained sex - but who's counting?). One man, using all of his resources, fighting for freedom against third-world dictators, traitors, communists and social utopians.

Liberals can have their poetry readings and foreign films (and foreign films about poetry readings) - I'll take a Bond movie any day of the week.

Cordially,
Adam D. Elrod

I hope the anti-potter book burners don't come and nuke this thread.

I thought it was a good movie. Just bought the first one on DVD.
