What state officials aren't telling you about chronic wasting disease - - the politics and blunders behind its spread and true dangers.
When I spoke to Wisconsin Division of Public Health Epidemiologist James Kazmierczak on September 13, he had the cheeriness of a man about to leave for a three week vacation. A day earlier, his department had dispatched a news release intending to quell the "paranoia" haunting the state since a front-page Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story suggested that the chronic wasting disease in the state deer herd might infect humans....

These "newfound diseases" sure seem to pop up overnight.
And how convenient that there are no real studies of venison eaters since they are "so hard to identify" and place into a category for study.
Let's see, what could be the train of thought here?
Why, Golly Gee Whiz Damn!
Why, most people who eat venison are hunters and guess what?
Many of those hunters use firearms to kill the game they eat!
Vegans and other such who are a statistically, morally and politically insignificant are attempting to run the asylum, with much to much success.
As the song says, "teach your children..." about the lies and propaganda they are having to listen to by the NEA and others...

CWD- Scrappie -Bovine Spongiform Encephaltitis-CJ disease...
I live in the eradication zone...and did not hunt this year..nor will I
I use to live to bow hunt and gun hunt...now its turkeys and squirrels only...gonna be a lot of road kill for coyotes and crows..which will increase the west nile virus spreading?....
...Its gonna get real interesting with Doyle in office..with all his nifty programs that have to be funded...we had an increase of 110% this year in property taxes..and now a major shortfall in hunting fees...maybe they will have to disband the DNR....awwwwww what a shame...

I'd not be willing to wait until 2022 to find out. This oughta pull the plug on sales of elk, venison, etc.....at least you won't find me buying any.

This is the deer version of Mad cow disease. There have been sporadic cases of Cruetfeld Jaeger disease (similar to mad cow disease) in the US for years, including a few in hunters.
The reports of the disease in Colorado sheepis several years old
I am just wondering why so few public health people seem worried about it. There have been sporadic cases in hunters reported.

Prion diseases cause mad cow disease, CJdisease in humans, and scrapie in sheep.

The word vegetarian comes from a native american word meaning 'poor hunter.'

Used to put bacon on a piece of string way back about 350 years ago to catch the blue crab in only 15 to 20 feet off one of the piers.
Now what could we catch?
A turd with a flag that similiar to this one below?
Got some good friends down Mexico way, but it is getting rediculous and dangerous.
Automatics are now carried on many ranches...
