I sympathize with some of your concerns.

Which of the three design concepts offered on the WTC2002 website is your favorite?

None of these designs are appropriate as a memorial or as to the function of a World Trade Center. I find all three uninspiring and architecturally simplistic (not eligant, just simple.)

And it is just a bit too PC that they all have muslim themed crown structures (pyramids and mosque-like dome with spire.) Nothing on this new building should be an homage to the culture that bred those that destroyed the orignal WTC and killed so many that worked there. To do so is an insult to their memories and their surviving families and friends.

A proper WTC II design should be a bold yet inspiring structure that is uniquely American. Don't let the looney left of architecture turn it into a PC reminder of their appeasement of radial Islam.

I prefer the five tower version with the central tower twice as tall as the other four. You could even align it perpendicular to Mecca. ;)
