We have the same sort of thing going on here in Vermont. It strikes me as odd that those come from the industrial armpits of our country coem to relatively pristine places and tell those who have nurtured the land for generations how things should be done.

Fortunately, our new governor has promised to take party status away from interest groups in environmental issues. Individuals may file grievances but groups like the Public Research Interest Group will no longer be able to hold up projects for decades.

It is happening everywhere. I would like to see all regional green opposition groups band together under an umbrella organization and name it sometning like "The Rural Folk Preservation Society"where we could have enough money and clout to shut up the liars.

The AP picks up stories from the green lobbies in Washington where they all have offices and the Washington AP tag in the liberal press makes their propaganda look ligitamate. If the "The Rural Folk Preservation Society" could maintain an office there also press releases would more likely be picked up and ran nationally.
