He literally cannot speak for more than 5 minutes without telling a MONSTROUS lie, not a little white one. LOL!!
So true. It's pathological.

I wouldn't call him a traitor for voicing dissent about the war on terrorism -- that's his right as an American. True, though sensible people understand his remarks to be motivated by politics rather than rational analysis and discount them accordingly.

The Segway's mechanically powered, which makes it highly politically incorrect. In addition to running/walking, being conveyed to the studio on a cockroach chariot would be politically correct, if the cockroaches were allowed to join the government employees union and receive 6 months paid maternal leave.

Happy Thanksgiving to all FReepers...

He was late to the show, like he was for Larry King last week. He blamed L.A. traffic again. He's just emulating his mentor, Bill Clinton. Clinton was late for everything. He kept kings and heads of state waiting ON PURPOSE, just to emphasize how much more important he was than anyone else.

No need to get your drawers in a wad. I was a nerd who did go to the prom. You didn't miss anything. I should have clarified it to say those who are on talk shows still whining about not going.
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
You couldn't have gotten any nerdier than me. I looked like Where's Waldo before there was a Waldo. I went to my prom, and wasn't really impressed.

Perfect viewing for chronic insomaniacs.

Al's problem is he needs to make peae with his inner Reno (that tall ,gangly, lesbian, liberal that lives deep in his psyche) Until he makes peace with that Reno he will always be percieved as a jerk.

After he's made peace with his inner Reno, the rouge will look natural, and the whine will sound almost musical...

I can't helping but think that Al "making peace with his Inner Reno" would entail the utter destruction of the Inner Gore.
After all, The Inner Reno (known as the Sasquach of Doom) represents the Id of the Democratic Party. From somewhere beneath consciousness it runs amok in the Psyche, leaving death and destruction everywhere in its wake. Being immune to all logic and the confines of reason, the Inner Reno craves death.
And what about the Inner Gore? Granted, there is a hint of the SuperEgo here, but the Ego isn't healthy enough to stave off the attacks from the Sasquach Id. The Inner Gore, in conflict with the Sasquach Id, is ripe for annihilation. In such a conflict, the Inner Reno will, no doubt, achieve total victory.

You should see what they're saying about this over at DU. They're saying the interview was bad because Leno is a right wing moron and not asking good questions. Then they said that Gore didn't look good because the camera kept "jumping around". Jeez, what a bunch of whiners...

My youngest son sings in a university choir. He was singing at a University fund raiser last week that Al Gore also attended.
My son got to meet Gore (Gore is trying to campaign). His comments to me were:
The man is very smart, but has the personality of a dead fish.
The guy has no sense of rythm. During one song, Gore was taping his hand to his head "to the music." Unfortunately, even though Gore could see the conductors hand movements, Gore was not tapping in time with the music. My son said that it made for the most bizzare kind of visual image.
I guess that Gore dances to the beat of a different drummer!

Leno went on to say they were just talking to each other, and Leno was basically asking, 'Why are you, Al Gore, begrudging them this little slice of the media pie?' He was not expressing himself well, but that's what Leno meant.Well, if that's what Leno was saying, then he definitely was not expressing himself well. I thought that after his reference to Hollywood being liberal, he (as you said) brought his hands together next to his right side and said that it was just a small group who do all the talking. But I thought he was talking about a small group of Hollywood types who do all the big-mouthing, eg., Baldwin, Streisand, Reiner, et al.
I like your interpretation better, and I hope you saw it better than I did.
Regards,
LH

A tall, long-legged, red-head female-type computer geek?

Oh wait a minute. I married one of them there red-haired computer-engineer geeks too.
(Okay - In our next lives, it's you & me though, alright?)

Al still pushing the idea that we should finish off bin Laden before we go after Saddam. Glad he wasn't around during WWII. "But how can we go after Hitler when Tojo is still running around loose?"
