The triangular half windsor is the only knot I tie. The lop-sided "wrecktangle" is just plain sloppy, and shows lack of discipline or care for proper dress.

I love today's pictures on the Dose. Barney is so special to me because we have had two Scotties of our own and it's such a wonderful breed of dog. I miss my two so much, but seeing Dubya enjoying Barney makes me a little less lonesome for mine.

I didn't hear Rush today. I have kind of gotten out of the habit of listening to him because of work. During the summer I listen to him almost daily. Then school starts back up and I am Rush-less. I remember the gravitas thing well though, and remember how funny it was.

Anyway, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We'll be spending the day at my sister's (twyn2's) house -- My darling son from Massachusetts arrived yesterday--it's so nice to have him back home for awhile -- gotta go make some Waldorf salad now...never made it before so hopefully it turns out okay (no big deal if it doesn't--we'll have way too much food, as always)

We do have so much to be thankful for here in America -- freedom and prosperity -- we take much for granted -- may the Lord Bless all of us and keep those who are traveling safe this day -- prayers for President Bush and his family and for all who serve in our government and in our military (special prayers and thanks to those who are overseas and parted from their families today)
