I've been carrying al-Masri as an Afghan Training Camp commander. I'm not saying you're wrong or I'm right - just that we may differ. But I, too, am wondering if this could be the guy, because the al-Masri on my charts is considered a key Bin Laden lieutenant. And if this isn't him, then this is an Al Qaeda big wig I haven't yet heard of.
