If you have a semester to write your term paper, you should work on it for a semester and not try to write it the night before it's due. I applaud these people for realizing that they need to work for every single vote.

The GOP wasted 6!!! years in Louisiana and never came up with a great candidate to run against Landrieu. We knew she was vulnerable 6!!! years ago and did nothing. It's inexcusable.

In fact, many conservatives wishing to be elected would be well-served by spending a couple of years articulating their arguments one voter at a time.

I see your point, GSC, but there is the danger of being a constant campaigner...a la Clinton, you know? I've got no problem with exploration, discussions with Party people, studying of the issue, but to claim a candidacy so early is a bit premature, imho.
